Spy-lerts Mailing List Description:
Spy-lerts is an Announcement Only - Moderators Only post - no replies - Group Mailing List. Only severe warnings and alerts are posted to this Mailing List Membership. Any type of major Patch/Fix or Upgrades notices and information are posted as well. There are no discussions or replies at Spy-lerts. Membership: Anyone may join !
Mail traffic ?
About 2 to 15 messages per week - of course depending on threats themselves. There seems to be always at least one alert weekly in the industry that affects average home/home-office computing safety usage by owner/operators, and you must pay attention for computing and personal safety online - the recommendation of the entire security industry and Microsoft themselves as creators of the Windows Operating Systems. Become familiar by joining some security podcast shows. Very intelligent and informative webcasts and podcasts are availble for average consumerism as well as professionals. Become security minded and stay tuned to "computing safety in the news" ! Join Spy-lerts at the BlueCollar PC Dot Net. (Membership is free as a community web list).

Bouncing Members Inboxes:
A "bouncing" email is a returned email to sender generally for two reasons. One the address no longer exists (account deleted or discontinued) or more common - a full inbox temporarily. The following message is sent out automatically by our List service: (brief):
"Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the
spy-lerts@bluecollarpc.net mailing list.
I'm working for my owner, who can be reached
at postmaster@bluecollarpc.net .
Messages to you from the webgroup mailing list seem to
have been bouncing. I've attached a copy of the first bounce
message I received.
If this message bounces too, I will send you a probe. If the probe bounces,
I will remove your address from the webgroup mailing list,
without further notice.
I've kept a list of which messages from the webgroup mailing list have
bounced from your address.
Copies of these messages may be in the archive.
To retrieve a set of messages...."
